When Publishing Your Book, Publish Everything!
When selling a book, you should always offer a bonus. A bonus item should be a good one, something compelling, something of value, something that a person interested in purchasing your book would want, preferably an information product in the same niche as your book.
Why is it important to offer a bonus? 2 reasons really:
1. Offering a bonus encourages people to buy your book.
2. When they pick up their bonus, the must sign up for the email list to claim their bonus. This helps to build a list that you can market more products to.
When selling a book, you can also offer a cd or dvd, a coupon for 50% off a ___________, a discounted or free membership to a website/seminar/information workshop etc., a discounted price on an item shipped from a drop shipper or from an affiliate account, items purchased from an overstock store or a store that sells blimished, refurbished items. The reason is that after a person purchases your book, they are your customer. It is much easier to sell a customer something than to make a first sale to a person you don’t know.
If you want to, have your book translated into a foreign language, put the book on a cd or dvd and sell it. You could also have your book turned into an audio book, put it on a cd or dvd and sell that. Point is, publish (sell) everything! Don’t just stop with your book. Your customers wanted to buy your book because it is in a niche they are interested in. Chances are that they would be interested in more items in that niche, but it is up to you to offer them.
